Plant Sale Order Form: Print Form and bring to the library by May 8th.  If your order is not turned in by May 8th you can still come by on the 10th to the Burbank Library from 12-5 pm and purchase the plants that are available.

The Friends will provide containers, soil and flowers.  They will help you create a colorful hanging basket or pot.  Feel free to bring a container from home.  Prices will be based on materials used and will range from $10-$30.   Pre-order Form Coming Soon.

Burbank Library Poetry Contest and Slam

Get ready for a day of Poetry! The Poetry Slam will be held on April 11th, 2013.  A writing workshop will be at 4:30 pm and then the poetry will begin flowing at 6 pm. We are really excited to have Mark Anderson as our special guest. Please read the Press Release here. Enter a poem online at on the library's website.   If you are interested in judging the contest and are free April 8th or 9th please contact us at burbankfriends@wwrurallibrary.com.

Annual Meeting TODAY!

Many thanks go out to all of our supporters. Many have donated baskets and goodies. The library is filled to the brim! Annual Meeting is today from 3-5 pm. The silent auction will close at 4:30 pm. The book mark contest winners will be announced at 4:00. Hope to see this afternoon.

November Monthly Meeting

The monthly meeting will be on Tuesday, November 13th at 6:30 pm.  On the agenda: 2013 officer nominations, annual meeting planning and Dolly Parton Imagination Library update.  Come join us and bring a FRIEND!

Book Mark Contest

It is that time again for the Annual Meeting Book Mark Contest "I Love Books!".  This is a contest that is open to youth of the community.  Please take your time and create a wonderful bookmark.  Artwork must be original.  Download and print off the entry form and drop it off at the Burbank Library, 875 Lake Road, before November 24th.  Winners will be announced at the annual meeting on December 8th, 2012 at the Burbank Library.  The event is from 3 pm-5 pm.
